Arrival at the charming town of Citta' della Pieve and visit.
Città della Pieve was built during the seventh century B.C., it developed between the 12th and the 13th centuries. It is situated over a hill of 500 meters of elevation, commanding the Valdichiana and Trasimeno lake, of which it has an incredible view. The landscape inspired Pietro Vannucci, also known as il Perugino, born in that village. The architectural witnesses range from Romanesque to Neoclassicism. The most famous Peruginos' paintings, still in the village, are as follows: "L'adorazione dei Magi", "Deposizione della Croce", "Battesimo di Cristo", "Madonna in Gloria e Santi".

Visit to a beautiful wine cellar where you will understand the process of making a good wine. The owner will also offers an excellent tasting of his DOC wines, along with other typical products to match with.

Arrival to a traditional olive mill, runned by the nice owner Elena.
Light tasting lunch in one of the caratheristic room of the frantoio, with bruschetta accompanied by genuine and traditional local products and a good wine.
Visit to the olive mill with explanation on how to make a good quality extra virgin olive oil with “spremitura a freddo”.

3.30 p.m. Arrival in Chiusi and visit.
It is a town full of history and culture as well as an important archeological centre at an international level. It has Umbro-etruscan origins and it was considered one of the most important Etruscan town.
It experienced a period of great expansion between the VII and V centuries BC; afterwards, it was under the Roman influence.
As seat of the Longobard Dukedom in 1765.
It was first under the influence of Orvieto and then Siena; for a short period it became a free city before being surrendered again to Siena and as a result, being a part of the Dukedom of Florence.
In Chiusi are present e very interesting National Etruscan Museum, some Etruscan tumbs, underground cistern and tunnels, a charming Cathedral, full of Frescoes.
