Umbria is divided in 12 turistic areas (Amerino, Assisi, Valnerina-Cascia, Trasimeno, Alta Valle del Tevere, Foligno-Nocera Umbra, Alto Chiascio, Orvieto, Perugia, Spoleto, Terni, Todi).
The Association is situated in the Trasimeno area, named after its lake.
“Terre da Gustare”wants to help its visitors to get to know the area in seven fun intineraries.
Trasimeno Lake is the biggest one of central Italy and the fourth
considering the whole national territory. It doesn't have a vulcanic
origin and it is not very deep. It is surrounded by the green
hills of Tuscany and Umbria. The light colours of its water give
to the turist intense emotions, transmitting peace and calmness.
We would like to invite you to follow us in our itineraries here listed and to live a holiday you will be able to taste slowly – thus at the pace of the inhabitants of this area, who have rejected the caos of modern city life in order to preserve these treasures.
